IOSTIA Member Eligibility
Membership is available only to bona fide organizations that promote and support the growth and development of the marine industry; and to organizations with public policy positions and business practices that are generally consistent with IOSTIA’s reputation and its policies and principles. We offer several levels of membership for businesses and non-profit/academic organizations.
Deductibility of Membership Dues
IOSTIA dues may be deducted as a business expense, however, the Internal Revenue Service limits business expense deductions for dues paid to an association that engages in lobbying activities. We anticipate the amount excluded annually to be less than 10%. This amount will be calculated and distributed annually.
